We will be running through several landscape types; from a hardwood forest, to wetlands, to granite barrens. This trail moves along high ground offering stunning vistas of the surrounding wilderness and lakes making it one of Halifax's most popular wilderness trails.
Biologist David Patriquin will give a 10minute presentation on the natural history of the area before the run begins. Participants are also welcome to come listen to David and then join him for a short hike instead of the run.
